Description
Mission — Cognitive Electronic Warfare
Cognitive Electromagnetic Warfare is an Air Force capability to analyze adversaries' use of the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS), make real-time decisions assisted by machine learning/artificial intelligence, preform effective electromagnetic attack (EA), and share EA techniques and identification/targeting criteria to the joint warfighting force. This program element may include necessary civilian pay expenses required to manage, execute, and deliver weapon system capability. The use of such program funds would be in addition to the civilian pay expenses budgeted in program element 0605829F, 060531F, 0605833F, 0605898F, 0606398F. This program is in Budget Activity 5, System Development and Demonstration (SDD) because it has passed Milestone B approval and is conducting engineering and manufacturing development tasks aimed at meeting validated requirements prior to full rate production.

Perform assessments and analyses for future open architecture Electromagnetic Attack (EA) capabilities and develop the pipeline to quickly transition those applications from lab to operational systems.

Perform assessments and analyses for an Air Force capability to analyze adversaries' use of the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS), make real-time decisions assisted by machine learning/artificial intelligence, preform effective electromagnetic attack (EA), and share EA techniques and identification/targeting criteria to the joint warfighting force.
Modular EA
Developing modular Electromagnetic Attack pods for multiple diverse platforms.
