Description
Description — UAS MODS
The One System Remote Video Terminal (OSRVT) Increment II consists of a base system with Remote Operations Video Enhanced Receiver (ROVER) 6 and 6S transceiver, tablet computer, Antennas, Type I encryption, Ku-Directional Antennas (KuDA) with an On-The-Move (OTM) capable variant, and an extended range Mobile Directional Antennas System (MDAS). OSRVT is a kit integrated with the ROVER 6 and upgraded ROVER 6S (R6S) transceiver that provides full motion video and telemetry data from multiple unmanned platforms: Gray Eagle, Shadow, Raven, Puma, Predator, Reaper, other UAS and crewed platforms [Apache, Fixed Wing, Litening/Sniper Pods]. Software supports decoding Telemetry Data from multiple Manned/Unmanned Aircraft Systems, provides Electro-Optical (EO)/Infrared (IR) payload control, and supports off-target calculations. In 1QFY24, the OSRVT began fielding the R6S variant to meet new spectrum frequency requirements and the system also includes a Soldier Portable OSRVT (SPOT) variant for dismounted users consisting of a wearable tablet computer and a Tactical Net ROVER 2 Encrypted (TNR 2E) transceiver. OSRVT supports current operations and future UAS (Launched Effects, Scalable Control Interface, and Future Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft System) requirements. The OSRVT MODS APE A000121000, began in FY 2017. Prior to FY 2017, OSRVT Procurement funds were provided via the SHADOW MODS APE A00018000. FY 2026 funding was transferred from Budget Activity (BA) 2, A01002 UAS MODS to BA 6, I48000 FUTURE UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEMS (UAS) FAMILY in support of Agile Portfolio Management.
