Description — Cyberspace Activities
Information Operations Condition (INFOCON) 3: Funding supports procurement of software, licensing upgrades, and technical support for hardware/software that enhance analytical capacity and host based security system mission system changes which provide warning to mitigate host level malicious activity. The software enables Joint Information Management System (JIMS) capability to work across systems (Navy to Joint), provides reciprocal communications via web service calls, allows process and technology interfaces for incident reporting, and provides situational awareness of U.S. Navy incidents. [P5 / NAVIFOR INFOCON 3 - Security Compliance (32F)]: Funds provided for the procurement of mission systems Hardware (HW) and Software (SW) required to maintain security compliance of Computer Network Defense protections (responsibilities, processes, and procedures), as it applies to Non-classified Internet Protocol Routing Network (NIPRNET) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) systems.
