Description

Description Spares and Repair Parts (Cyber)

This program supports Cyberspace Activities Initial Spares consist of reparable components, assemblies, subassemblies, and consumable items required as initial stock (including readiness spares package requirements) in support of newly fielded vehicles, communications electronics and telecommunications equipment, and other base maintenance and support equipment items. Requirements are determined by applying established factors against the acquisition cost of the end items. The factors are based on historical data of similar equipment, employment/deployment concepts, production schedules, and other related information. Funding for this exhibit contained in PE 0303140F.

Justification

Justification Spares and Repair Parts (Cyber)

Information Systems Security Program (ISSP): FY 2026 funding is required to support Air and Ground (A&G) and Key Management Enterprise (KME) which supplies crypto devices to all Services/ Agencies to meet NSA cybersecurity mandates for warfighter air and ground networks.
