Description Mobility Command And Control

PE 0401840F AMC Command and Control System GLOBAL MOBILITY COMMAND AND CONTROL (C2) ARCHITECTURE AIR MOBILITY COMMAND (AMC): The AMC C2 architecture is an integrated, command-wide program that supports US Air Force airlift/air refueling missions around the globe with centralized control/decentralized execution. To execute America's Global Reach mission, Air Mobility Command's 618th Air Operations Center (AOC) plans, schedules, and directs a fleet of more than 1,100 mobility aircraft. The 618th AOC operates combat delivery, strategic airlift, air refueling, and aeromedical evacuation operations around the world. MOBILITY AIR FORCE (MAF) COMMAND AND CONTROL (C2) INFRASTRUCTURE: Provides base wired/wireless infrastructure equipment supporting AMC's 618th AOC and AMC's 11 bases to assure connectivity to AMC's command and control (C2) systems and to ensure they remain operational at AMC bases and operating locations. MAF C2 Infrastructure ensures connectivity with critical Air Force systems such as the Information Transport System (ITS), Global Combat Support System (GCSS), and the Global Decision Support System (GDSS); AMC's C2 systems across AMC providing intra-base command and control for base security, emergency management, flight-line operations/maintenance, and crash response. Funding for this effort is contained in PE 0401840F Mobility Command and Control.

PE 0401840F AMC Command and Control System MOBILITY AIR FORCE (MAF) COMMAND AND CONTROL (C2) INFRASTRUCTURE: FY 2026 funding continues procurement of wired and wireless base network infrastructure equipment, including cabling, routers, bridges, hubs, repeaters, and switches. These upgrades ensure that information technology remains current and maintains interoperability with AMC C2 systems, meeting the needs of the warfighter and AMC's worldwide mobility mission. These upgrades include modernization efforts to SIPRNet to allow for cross-domain capabilities and allowing access to sensitive compartmented information, procuring warfighter NIPRNet & SIPRNet mobile laptops and zero client workstations, and procuring fiber installs, premise wiring, equipment racks, and licensing.
