Description COE Tactical Server Infrastructure (TSI)

8151B70000 / COE Tactical Server Infrastructure (TSI) base procurement funding in FY 2026 and beyond was realigned to Lines B29810 (Item Number B29801) and BA9301 (Item Number B99418), in support of the Army's Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) initiative to modernize Command and Control (C2) systems, Infrastructure Layer. This capability, along with its resources and requirement will transition under the overarching NGC2 capability to eliminate stove-piping, reduce duplication of effort, and provide capability within a single NGC2 core architecture. The Tactical Server Infrastructure (TSI) is the server hardware platform that hosts Mission Command applications and enterprise software in Army units from the Battalion echelon up through the Army Service Component Command. The TSI provides the computing and data storage hardware/software required to host the tactical Computing Environments, supported Warfighter Functional Area applications, Cross-Cutting Capabilities and enables the collaborative work environment. TSI standardizes server configurations using Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software and TSI provides a common hosting platform for mission command systems. It extends support to the migration of future warfighting capabilities and facilitates cloud computing capabilities in the tactical space.

Base procurement funding in FY 2026 and beyond was realigned to Lines B29810 (Item Number B29801) and BA9301 (Item Number B99418), in support of the Army's Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) initiative to modernize Command and Control (C2) systems, Infrastructure Layer. This capability, along with its resources and requirement will transition under the overarching NGC2 capability to eliminate stove-piping, reduce duplication of effort, and provide capability within a single NGC2 core architecture. In accordance with section 1815 of the FY 2008 National Defense Authorization Act (P.L. 110 - 181), this item is necessary for use by the active and reserve components of the Armed Forces for homeland defense missions, domestic emergency responses, and providing military support to civil authorities.
