Description
Description — First Destination Transportation
Transportation funds are required to support the distribution of USAF ammunition end items and components (Interim Transportation). Distribution originates from and to CONUS and OCONUS manufacturing plants/contractors, and/or assembly points e.g. Army Ammunition Plants (AAPs), Arsenals; Defense Contract Management Centers to include Off Shore Procurement Contractors shipping under F.O.B. Origin terms. Requirements are either destined for CONUS depots for acceptance into the Air Force Supply System, to CONUS Customers, to CONUS Arsenals, or to ports of embarkation in support of Call Forward, i.e., Training, War Reserve Materials (WRM) or Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO). Funding for this exhibit is contained in PE 0208030F. The Air Force previously requested First Destination Transportation costs in WSC 353020/General Purpose Bombs.

The FY 2026 request supports centrally funded distribution of Air Force ammunition end items and components from the point of manufacture to initial receipt into the Air Force supply system.
