The Department of Defense Chief Information Officer established America's Mid-Band Initiative Team (AMBIT) in response to a White House 5G initiative to auction 100 MHz of spectrum. This funding stream includes the production of hardware and associated support to enable spectrum reallocation and coexistence solutions.
