SSN E52400 / CAP BLASTING NON-ELEC INERT is a new start within the Demolition Munitions, All Types program in FY 2026 SSN E52600 / CAP BLASTING NON-ELEC M7 is a new start within the Demolition Munitions, All Types program in FY 2026 SSN E53100 / CHARGE, Demo Shaped 15 lb, M2 is a new start within the Demolition Munitions, All Types program in FY 2026 SSN E83411 / SCENT KIT, CANINE: EXPLOSIVE (CESK) is a new start within the Demolition Munitions, All Types program in FY 2026 This budget line includes Demolition Munitions, All Types. (E45404) The M17A1 Receiver, Radio Frequency Remote Activation Munition System (RF-RAMS) is a single use item, which is capable of functioning non-electric blasting caps or detonation cord. The M17A1 provides the un-tethered capability to wirelessly function/initiate demolition charges or munitions up to and beyond 5 KM line-of-sight/non-line-of-sight, once it receives the correct programmed coded signal from the RF-RAMS transmitter. The Receiver is programmed in the field by an RF-RAMS Transmitter and subsequently responds only to that transmitter. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E50703) Bangalore Torpedo 2.5 FT M1A3 is used to clear paths through barbed wire entanglements and minefields. Bangalore torpedoes are also used for clearing heavy undergrowth of bamboo and may also be used as a cratering charge, especially in connection with shaped charges against reinforced concrete targets. The Bangalore Torpedo consist of eight (8) 2.5-foot tubes with eight (8 ea) connecting sleeves and two (2 ea) nose sleeves. Each tube is filled with a main charge of approximately 5.25 pounds of Composition B-4 explosive and a booster assembly, located at each end of the tube, contains 0.5 pounds of Composition A-3. The tubes are joined end-to-end by connecting sleeves until the desired length is attained. The total system length is 20 feet. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E50800) 1/4 LB TNT (Tri Nitro Toluene) Block Demolition Charge is one of three TNT charges. TNT demolition charges have a high detonating velocity and are particularly well suited to cutting or breaching hard surface materials. When a charge is detonated, the explosive is converted into compressed gas. The gas exerts pressure in the form of a shock wave which demolishes the target by cutting, breaching, or cratering. The type of demolition achieved depends on the placement of the charge in relation to the target. Unlike the 1 pound and 1/2-pound versions, which are rectangular, the 1/4-pound block is issued in a cylindrical, waterproof, olive-drab cardboard container or an alternative plastic cylindrical container. The cardboard container design has metal ends with a threaded cap well in one end. The plastic designs also have one end with a threaded cap well in one end. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E51000) CHARGE, Demo Blk TNT 1 lb - TNT demolition charges have a high detonating velocity and are particularly well suited to cutting or breaching hard surface materials. (E51300) 40LB Cratering Demolition Block Charge is a demolition charge designed to destroy roads, bridge abutments, runways, buildings, fortifications and other concrete structures. It uses a low velocity explosive which destroys by a lifting and heaving motion rather than the cutting action of high velocity charges. The 40 lb. Cratering Charge contains 39 pounds of Composition H-6 Explosive loaded in a steel cylinder. It is approximately 7 inches in diameter and 20 inches tall and packed in an M18A2 container. The H-6 explosive has a relatively low detonating velocity and is therefore unsuitable for cutting and breaching operations. This item is Code A, approved for service use (E51400) M186 Demolition Charge is a 50-foot roll of flexible explosive. It is 3 inches wide and 1/4 inch thick. It can be easily cut and formed into various shapes and is primarily used as a cutting charge. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E52400) Inert Non-Electric Blasting Caps are used for demonstration and for training in demolition work requiring nonelectric blasting cap. Its only purpose is for demonstration and to give the operator the feel and training in the use of blasting caps. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E52600) Cap Blasting M7 is used to initiate high explosives. The M7 consists of an aluminum alloy cup containing an ignition charge of lead styphnate, an intermediate charge of lead azide, and a base charge of RDX. The M7 is initiated with time blasting fuse and a M81 Igniter. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E53100) Charge Demolition Shaped M2 15 pound are shaped so as to concentrate their explosive force in a particular direction. It is used to blast craters in paved and unpaved roads and to bore holes in metals, masonry or concrete. It contains a 6-inch stand-off, 11.5-pound Composition B explosive main charge and 0.11-pound Composition A3 booster. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E53200) Charge Demolition Shaped M3 40 pound are shaped so as to concentrate their explosive force in a particular direction. It is used to blast craters in paved and unpaved roads and to bore holes in metals, masonry or concrete. It contains a 15-inch stand-off, 29.5-pound Comp B main charge and a 0.11-pound Comp A3 booster. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E54100) Detonating Cord is used to prime and detonate explosive charges. Unlike the time fuze, which burns slowly, detonating cord burns almost instantaneously. It is used to link a series of near simultaneous charges. The Type 1, Class E detonating cord consists of a core of high velocity explosive in a seamless textile tube. The tube is covered with a thin layer of asphalt and sheathed in an outer cover of plastic-coated textile. The plastic outer cover is smooth and colored olive drab. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E54200) CORD DETONATING INERT - The M458 Inert Detonating Cord is similar to the M456 Type 1E in construction and external appearance, consists of an asphalt-coated cotton tube sheathed in an outer cover of smooth plastic-coated rayon. The Inert cord differs from the service cord in that the cord of the training item is inert loaded with poly-vinyl chloride (PVC) filler and the plastic outer is blue. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E60200) Cutter CTG Actuated 2 Sec Delay M21 is a cartridge actuated device that is used in aerial delivery systems for cargo. It severs a reefing line which allows a parachute to fully deploy. The cutter is installed in a mounting bracket which is attached to the parachute. Major components consist of a case, firing pin assembly, lanyard, knife assembly, delay assembly, and cotter pin. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E81302) Cap Blasting Non-Elec, W/30 ft. Shock Tube is part of the family of Modernized Demolition Initiators (MDI). It consists of a blasting cap which is factory sealed to a length of shock tube. The tube is activated using an M81 igniter. A shock wave travels the length of the tube, with a delay measured in milliseconds, and ignites the blasting cap which in turn initiates the main charge. The MDI is not susceptible to electrostatic discharge or Radio Frequency (RF) jamming. The 30-foot length is generally used as a linking charge for a series of demolitions. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E81307) Igniter, Time Fuse and Shock Tube, M81 is part of the family of Modernized Demolition Initiators (MDI). The M81 is a device, hand held by the individual Soldier, with a small primer charge that will activate the M700 Time Fuse as well as a shock tube. It is the primary device for all non-electrical demolition initiation. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E83411) The Canine Explosive Scent Kit (CESK) consists of eight (8 ea.) energetics and will provide an enhanced training capability for Military Working Dog (MWD) Teams. The energetics/scents will be stored/transported individually within a Pelican 1150 case. The Pelican 1150 case will have three (3ea) Training Aid Delivery Devices (TADDs) for that particular energetic. There will be eight (8 ea) Pelican 1150 cases in one (1 ea) Pelican iM2875 case. For replenishment of the energetics/scents, the individual energetics/scents will be stored/transported within an M19A1 metal container. The CESK provides Military Working Dog (MWD) teams relevant materials used to construct explosive devices employed against U.S. Forces. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E96200) Booster, Demo Charge M152 is part of the family of Modernized Demolition Initiators (MDI). This item physically represents the actual M152, except it is inert. It is used for training and is reusable. The color of the detonating cord is bronze. The ID tags legibly display "M152 Inert". The blasting cap has four holes drilled on the circumference using a #46-48 drill size to establish an unobstructed view through the cap. These holes are 90 degrees apart. The blasting caps are also labeled "inert" on two sides, opposite each other. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E99901) Cap, Blasting, Non-Electric, 200 Ft Minitube, M19 is part of the family of Modernized Demolition Initiators (MDI). It consists of a dual initiating component used to activate standard military explosives and demolition devices. The MDI is not susceptible to electrostatic discharge or Radio Frequency (RF) jamming. This item is Code A, approved for service use. (E99903) Blast Cap, Non-Elec: 500Ft Minitube, M21 is part of the family of Modernized Demolition Initiators (MDI). Justification — Demolition Munitions, All Types
The FY 2026 Budget supports critical Army Title 10 war reserve/operational, training, and test requirements in accordance with Department of Defense Instruction 3000.04 (Munitions Requirements Process) and Army Regulation 5-13 (Total Army Munitions Requirements Process and Prioritization System). War reserve requirements support Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) approved Combatant Commander Operational Plans, Homeland Defense, and other OSD-directed missions. Training requirements support individual and collective training of Active and Reserve Component forces at Army schools, home station, and the combined training centers. Test requirements support the development, fielding, safety, and quality assurance of Army munitions and equipment throughout their life cycle. In accordance with Section 1815 of the FY 2008 National Defense Authorization Act (P.L. 110-181), this item is necessary for use by the active and reserve components of the Armed Forces for homeland defense missions, domestic emergency responses, and providing military support to civil authorities. FY 2026 Total Base dollars in the amount of $21.409 million supports procurement of fourteen variants of Demolitions. E45404 M17A1 Receiver, Radio Frequency Remote Activation Munition System (RF-RAMS) [MP47] This is a training standard item used in training and combat.
