Description
Description — Base Expeditiary Targeting and Surv Sys
BLI 0169BZ6501 / Base Expeditiary Targeting and Surv Sys is a new start in FY 2026. Base Expeditionary Targeting Surveillance System - Combined (BETSS-C) (BZ6501) is a family of force protection surveillance systems providing 24/7, 360-degree visual coverage with a tower- or tripod-mounted EO/IR Sensor payload that offers detection ranges out to 20km. The system utilizes the Ageon Command and Control (C2) software and provides real-time video for 24/7, 365 continuous video feeds. The trailer-mounted Persistent Surveillance System - Ground (PSS-G) sensor platform is available in both an 80' heavy tower and a 25' medium tower. Alternatively, the smaller Cerberus Lite Scout and Detachable Kits are mounted on tripods for expeditionary applications. These systems utilize long range detection sensors that benefit from the elevation of the parent platforms for increased line of sight. All BETSS-C system variants can be equipped with wireless C2 capabilities. Overseas Operations Costs (OOC) funds this requirement in FY 2026.

Justification — Base Expeditiary Targeting and Surv Sys
This is a new start effort. FY 2026 Base procurement dollars in the amount of $1.801M supports the procurement of one (1) Base Expeditionary Targeting Surveillance Systems - Combined (BETSS-C), Persistent Surveillance System - Ground (PSS-G) Heavy tower, mounted sensors (EO/IR sensors, radar sensor, and radio connectivity kit), and associated cabling and mounting hardware as the result of an operational loss in support of Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) - (Non-Enduring). This is an increase of $1.801 million from the FY 2025 requested level.
